About us

A training resource for studio production in motion

buzzpopry helps studio crews build the technical skill and teamwork that television news and live shows depend on.

Broadcast studio crew preparing a live show set

Built by people who work in studios every day

buzzpopry began as a set of practical notes passed between floor managers, camera operators and sound engineers. Today it is a full course resource covering studio equipment setup, dynamic camera operation, lighting and sound waves, and the workflows that keep a live programme moving without drama.

Our trainers are working broadcasters. They teach what actually happens when a bulletin overruns, a microphone drops out or a camera needs to be somewhere else in ten seconds.

How we teach

  • Learn on a live floor

Every course is built around real studio practice, so you rehearse the same pressure you will meet on air.

  • Teach repeatable habits

We focus on checklists, clear calls and calm hand-offs that make a crew reliable show after show.

  • Respect the whole crew

Floor, gallery, sound and lighting depend on each other, and our training treats them as one team.
